- I’m not a script writer but I wanted to give it a go. I had an idea on my head and I felt I could get into paper. I struggled for months trying to write it. The difficult part it’s not writing it but how you express yourself on paper. My way to express myself was to be behind the camera. So it’s how I started writing, as a camera operator. However I saw that it didn’t make sense for whoever was going to read the script, like producers or actors. So I tried to write more like a script writer. I had some lessons on scriptwriting which helped me on thinking more about the character's background, the character development. Also talking to the lecturer about the story made me think about it a bit more and with the lecturer and I also found an end for the script.
After 4 months I came up with a five pages script (mine third draft). It doesn’t look much but for who is not into writing scripts it is an achievement. Then I gave my third to one of my friends from University (Tammana) who is much better than me on writing scripts. She gave me a good help on making my script look more like a script, correcting some errors and giving it a better shape and story line.
